About the Role
Are you looking to work in a modern, world renowned tertiary hospital that provides a comprehensive orientation and ongoing education in a supportive team based environment?
We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse with strong leadership and advanced nursing skills for the role of Nurse Specialist in General Medicine.
You will provide professional and clinical leadership, patient care co-ordination, education and clinical teaching to patients and staff. The role covers primary, secondary and tertiary care of complex patients.
You will be someone who can work autonomously and as part of a supportive senior nursing team committed to effective/evidenced based nursing practice.
The successful applicant will have extensive general medicine nursing experience and be practicing at a senior level. We are looking for a proactive person who is ready for a new challenge and a chance to take a step up in their career path. Post graduate qualifications, and research skills will be an advantage.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Our team of 5 Clinical Nurse Specialist works collaboratively with the greater Multidisciplinary team across our service. Working together to provide the best support and health outcomes for our patients and their whanau on their journey from hospital into the community.
