LabPLUS are part of Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand based at Te Toka Tumai | Auckland.  They provide primary and secondary pathology services for Auckland City Hospital, National Women's Hospital, Starship Childrens Hospital, and the Greenlane Clinical Centre. LabPLUS is also a major referral laboratory for specialised laboratory tests for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. 
 
LabPLUS offers anatomical pathology service (APS) in Chemical Pathology, Haematology, Microbiology, Virology and Immunology, National Testing Centre, Forensic Pathology, Anatomical Pathology and Diagnostic Genetics. Plus LabPLUS holds a number of national contracts for New Zealand which includes Newborn metabolic testing, Antenatal Down Syndrome and Forensic Services.

  • LabPLUS APS is the largest anatomical pathology lab in New Zealand processing over 90,000 histology cases per year covering the entire Auckland region for community anatomical pathology.
  • It is one of the three facilities in New Zealand providing Cervical Screening through Molecular testing of HPV and Cytology.
  • LabPLUS APS is going through a growth stage as the regional population and its healthcare needs grow, the volume and workload for LabPLUS APS has expanded. This provides a great opportunity for the right candidates looking to move to Auckland from other parts of the country or from overseas.
