About the Role
The Nurse Educator is responsible for promoting, facilitating and providing clinical education to maximise health care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and promote clinical excellence and evidenced-based professional nursing practice.
The Nurse Educator, a key member of our Senior Nursing Team, ensures our nursing team is fully equipped to deliver the best possible nursing.
As a Nurse Educator you not only have to develop and deliver training material but also support the delivery of strategic objectives of the service which requires an ability to influence change and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Ward 51 has a multi-disciplinary team with 3 Clinical Charge Nurses and a Allied health Consultant. The unit consists of 41 beds, where acute and rehabilitation is situated under one roof. The staff work 8- and 12-hour shifts. Ward 51 also provided regional service for Epilepsy patients and stroke patients for clot retrieval.
