This permanent 0.8 FTE senior nursing role is primarily responsible for co-ordination and management of care to patients with thromboembolic disease, including those participating in Clinical Trials. However, gradually learning about Haemophilia and supporting Haemophilia centre would be an expectation. This position is pivotal in enhancing the relationship between primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare services in the diagnosis and treatment of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) in greater Auckland.
As the Nurse Specialist, you will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge, advanced clinical skills, work autonomously, be an excellent communicator, adaptable and work well within a team. You will be accountable for care delivery and coordination of complex Thrombosis patients and will work in collaboration with the Medical and Senior nursing teams.
