About the Role
As the Nurse Unit Manager Orthopaedics, North Island Sarcoma Service and Urology you will be providing operational and strategic clinical nursing leadership to ensure the effective day-to-day operations and service delivery of excellent care to our patient population.
You will collaborate with clinical experts who are dedicated and focused on providing quality health outcomes for our patients. Together with Service Clinical Directors and Business Managers, you will provide strategic and operational leadership as well as delivering on the organisation’s objectives, priorities and the nursing strategy.
The Nurse Unit Manager has line management responsibility for Senior Nurses including, Charge Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Nurse Educators.
The Surgical Nursing Leadership team provides a collaborative and supportive environment for you to grow.

About the Team/Service/ Location
You will be working within dynamic teams of Senior Nurses, Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants Surgeons, Registrars, House Surgeons, and Allied Health colleagues to deliver care to acute and planned care patients primarily at Auckland City Hospital.
