About the Role
As a Clinical Coach, you will play a crucial role in providing essential clinical support and coaching for our nursing staff. You will have an inclination for leadership and working alongside less experienced nurses when they are providing care to more acute, and complex whaiora. This role requires the ability to be flexible with their roster for example working after hours and weekends.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Haumaru Ōrite is a supra-regional acute psychiatric child and adolescent mental health inpatient unit, caring for whaiora between age 0-18th birthday.
Within the same facility Haumaru Ōrite also houses a specialist three-bedded Mother and Baby Unit which provides inpatient care to people living in Waitemata, Auckland, Counties Manukau, and Northland.
It is located on level one of Starship Children's Hospital.

About you
As a Clinical Coach you will:
· Be a NZ registered Nurse who has a minimum of five years post-registration mental health experience. Level 4 PDRP is preferred however we will consider Level 3 and working towards Level 4.
· You will have the relevant post-graduate mental health qualification or be working towards this qualification. Previous experience in clinical coaching or mentoring is also desirable.
· We expect you to understand bicultural issues and have a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori.
