We are seeking a Mental Health Assistant to join our service at Tupu Ora.
Tupu Ora is a regional specialist service providing assessment and treatment for, children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Tupu Ora also provides consultation to and liaison with community services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland and Northland region.
Tupu Ora has a continuum of services including community/outpatient, day programme and residential options. The Tupu Ora community team provides specialist treatment to children, adolescents and adults presenting with moderate to severe eating disorders in the community and outpatient setting. The purpose of this position is to provide support for therapeutic groups delivered by Tupu Ora. These groups are attended by clients and/or whānau and the role will assist by working alongside the multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure that effective and high-quality clinical service is delivered in an organised and cohesive way.
