Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We are looking for a suitably experienced and motivated allied health clinician to provide clinical leadership and effective operational management to the Paediatric Radiology service within Clinical Support Services Directorate. Your appointment will ensure the makeup of our leadership team reflects the value we place on multidisciplinary practice at all levels.

Reporting to the Director of the Directorate or as delegated, this role provides a leadership focus and a management direction for the Children’s Radiology service, in partnership with the Service Manager, ensuring ongoing impartiality and congruity with the department’s vision, as expressed through the Strategic Plan and the annual Business Plan.

In partnership with the Service Manager, to manage and develop an efficient and effective Children’s Radiology service that meets the service requirements of Te Toka Tumai Auckland.

The role also involves:

• Actively providing clinical leadership and effective management of the service’s performance and a drive for productivity and quality improvements;
• Safeguarding high standards of care by creating an environment in which excellence and innovation in clinical care can flourish;
• Foster excellence in practice standards and professional conduct
• Identifying opportunities for change to clinical pathways and Models of Care

You must be clinically qualified in a relevant field of practice and registered in New Zealand, holding a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
