About the Role
House Officer runs in the Auckland region are three months in length, following which you may rotate into a different run. Example run descriptions for the 2025 training year can be viewed on the Auckland Doctors website. We will provide you with:
We also have implemented rosters with structured days off to ensure that you will be safe, rested and able to enjoy all that New Zealand has to offer.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Auckland consistently ranks as one of the most liveable cities in the world with its stunning natural landscapes, mix of cultures and world class entertainment. Working in the Auckland Region you will have the opportunity to work alongside our passionate and knowledgeable senior clinicians who will provide you with world class supervision and mentorship.
We will involve you with our diverse patient base and demographic population (there are more than 200 ethnic
communities in Auckland). You will get a huge variety of clinical presentations and pathologies so you can decide how this
influences your learning and future speciality focus or career pathway.

Quarter 1: 19 January 2026
Quarter 2: 20 April 2026
Quarter 3: 20 July 2026
Quarter 4: 19 October 2026
