Each position will include the opportunity to practice as the senior doctor in the acute team with available back-up from a Senior Medical Officer (SMO) to assist the transition from trainee to specialist.
The Fellowship opportunities typically available during any given training year focus on the following clinical areas:

This position also involves a dedicated session of Obstetric ultrasound with the Foetal Medicine team. The Obstetric Fellow is expected to lead the Obstetric Clinical Practice group which concentrates on guidelines and current Obstetric issues within the hospital.
