We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed term - full time, position with Te Toka Tumai, Auckland City Hospital in Clinical Perfusion.
The Cardiothoracic Service at Auckland City Hospital (ACH) is the main Cardiac Centre in New Zealand providing the full range of cardiac surgery for both ischemic and rheumatic heart disease, aortic surgery, heart, lung and liver transplantation for which the adult caseload is approximately 1200 per year. The unit is also the national ECMO centre for which it has a retrieval service.
A subset of the ACH perfusionists also provides perfusion services for the Starship Children’s Hospital Cardiac service.
