Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with an enquiring mind and a passion for clinical research to join the research team in the Auckland Cancer Trials Centre (ACTC). In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of treatments to patients participating in Early Phase Clinical trials. This is a full time position.
You will be working in the Medical Oncology setting within ACTC, supported by Research Nurses and Principal Investigators.
You will interact with study participants and their families, investigating clinicians, clinical trial coordinators, C&B Research department staff, pharmacy and laboratory colleagues, and sponsoring groups involved in the study.

Essential skills required are:
· Registered Nurse (Ideally suit level 2-3 nurse).
· Medical Oncology experience
· Research experience (preferable)
· Ability to communicate with people from widely different backgrounds and cultures
· Methodical, well organised with meticulous attention to detail
· Able to work autonomously whilst integrating with the multidisciplinary team
· Self-starter who can manage your time effectively and who has a commitment to quality outcomes.
· Comprehensive orientation and training will be provided.
