Vision Hearing Tester - Hearing and Ear Health Team, Starship Community

About the role
We are seeking a permanent, full-time Vision Hearing Tester who will be providing vision and hearing screening of children in early childhood, school, home and clinic settings according to the National Hearing Vision Screening Protocols which include the B4School Check, School New Entrant and Year 7 screening. This role maintains accurate records and documentation, including the upkeep of accurate results into a database and ensuring the care of equipment.
About the Service
Starship Community provides multidisciplinary care and cultural support to children, young people and their whānau living within the Auckland area. Our nursing, allied health and technical staff deliver health care services to children, young people, and their whānau in their home, school and community settings. A part of this service is the Hearing & Ear Health team consisting of our talented Audiologists, Newborn Hearing Screeners, Ear Nurses and Vision and Hearing Technicians.
