About the Role
As a referrals management clinician, you will have clinical responsibility for facilitating and managing tangata whai i te ora access to the range of Community Mental Health clinical services (CMHS). This includes dealing with enquiries from the public and referrers, managing referrals, undertaking assessments and the provision of general liaison between CMHS, GP’s, other health services and social agencies.

About you
We seek an enthusiastic clinician (Mental Health Nurse) eager to embrace the diverse challenges inherent in delivering recovery-focused, integrated services to the Te Toka Tumai adult community. As part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary group of mental health experts under the guidance of the Clinical Team Leader. Together, we aim to ensure the efficient, top-notch delivery of tailored service outcomes to our clientele.
The successful candidate will:
· Possess clinical expertise and a strong focus on patient-centred care.
· Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, mental health service providers, government agencies, and community organizations to advance clients’ recovery.
· Hold a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
· Possess a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health.
· Have prior experience working in a Mental Health setting.
