The Opportunity

As the Chief Resident Officer:

• You will provide leadership, pastoral care and rostering oversight to the team of 19 O&G Registrars and 15 house officers.
• You will be part of the clinical governance structure and advise the Medical Director and Service Clinical Directors, Chief Training Supervisor
• You will liase with the Northern Regional Alliance recruitment and operational support teams.

 The CRO has a key influence in the experience of RMOs in Women’s Health by providing operational leadership and guidance to rostering, leave, and RMO workforce issues.

You will gain a wealth of experience in leading and supporting medical colleagues, influencing the work environment and clinical governance, while also completing advanced training requirements.

About you

We are looking for the following requirements. The successful candidate must be:

• Close to completing New Zealand O&G vocational training (i.e. must have completed RANZCOG core training) and
• Have an interest in service development, teaching and clinical leadership
