The Opportunity
We are seeking an AATP Fellow for a two-year position (24 months fixed term). This role is fully accredited by Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES) as a Fellow in Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery.
This role has been created by National Women’s Health at Te Toka Tumai Auckland Hospital to provide exposure to an extensive variety of minimal access surgery in both a public and private setting.
National Women's Health (NWH) provides subspecialty services in Gynaecological Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynaecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The hospital has a close association with the Auckland University Faculty of Health Sciences and has a leading role in research, undergraduate teaching and post graduate training.
About the Role
In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
Fellows will work closely with sub-specialist laparoscopic surgeons with interests in endometriosis, leiomyoma, fertility and persistent pelvic pain. Participation in the multidisciplinary Women’s Health Pain Service (WHPS) enables candidates to work alongside pain specialists and gynaecologists with particular expertise in surgical and medical management of this condition.
