About the Role
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is highly motivated, lives our Te Toka Tumai Auckland values, possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with rapidly changing priorities to join our fast-paced and dynamic Oral Maxillofacial Service (OMS) team.
The role is managing the day-to-day operations of the department, working closely with equivalent roles across surgical services and implementing improvement initiatives in partnership with the relevant business manager and clinical director. You will have the opportunity to utilise your strengths to develop this role and partner with different team to enhance their potential. Ensuring compliance and performance targets are met will be at the forefront of your focus. No two days will be the same and you will be a pillar in bringing the service forward.
This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week); primarily based at Middlemore Hospital as part of a broader Te Toka Tumai Auckland Team based at this location.

About you
As an ideal candidate, you will have previous experience in operational supervisory role managing administrators in a busy and complex environment. Your ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a multidisciplinary work environment is essential to be successful in the role. You will demonstrate strong work ethic, and a positive mind set with the ability to problem solve and identify opportunities for improvement.
Applicants with leadership and clinical supervisory experience will have preference. Proficiency working with Titanium – patient management system is an advantage.
