About the Role
We have an opportunity available for an experienced New Zealand Registered Dietitian interested in stepping into a Senior Renal Dietitian role. This role is part of the inpatient Dietitian team and would see you working fixed term (maternity leave cover until May 2026), part-time (32 hours /week) Monday to Friday, with the option of roster weekends. This is an opportunity to join our dynamic and supportive Renal team within the Nutrition and Dietetics Service based at Auckland City Hospital. This role will see you working closely with the Renal Service providing nutrition care for patients with chronic kidney disease including pre-dialysis, dialysis, renal transplant and kidney stone prevention in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
The role is ideal for a dietitian with excellent communication, organisation skills and ability to work independently as part of a dynamic team.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our team is made up of passionate and supportive dietitians who are dedicated to advocating for our patients and enhancing nutrition-related outcomes within our community. We consist of 26.7 FTEs, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The Renal Dietitians are based at Auckland City hospital but support our patient population at our satellite dialysis units across the Te Toka Tumai catchment
