Control Room Healthcare Security Officer

Join our team at Te Toka Tumai in a critical role focused on safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring the security and protection of our property and assets. As part of our dedicated security team, you will play a vital role in providing professional, customer-centric healthcare security services to create a safe and secure environment for all. Your proactive approach and operational expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the safety and well-being of everyone at Te Toka Tumai.

About you | He kōrero mōu  

You will be working within a small, high performing team who depend heavily on each other to ensure prompt response to incidents and ensure safety of all patients, visitors, and staff.

• Experience in security control rooms and familiarity with security technology systems preferred
• Vulnerable Children’s Act (VCA) Clearance essential and Police Clearance, if required

• Proficient in Intermediate computer usage
• Strong track record of punctuality and attendance

• Able to prioritise and self-manage
• Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service over phone and emails
• Able to learn systems quickly

• Excellent written report skills
• Good attention to detail
