About the role
We have a Permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position and a Fixed term (end May 2026) part-time (0.2FTE) position available. The role is based across Starship and Auckland City Hospital.
We are looking for someone to provide national expert dietetic education, advice and support to patients, parents, caregivers, and professional colleagues involved in the treatment of Inherited Metabolic Diseases (IMD). If you are interested in caring for, at times, complex patients, have attention to detail and appreciate working as a team you will enjoy working with us in the field of IMD.

The National Paediatric and Adult Metabolic Service (NMS), while based in Auckland, is a national service that sees children and adults from across New Zealand.
We are a close-knit team who work together with the wider multi-disciplinary teams; local services, and with our international community of colleagues, to achieve the best outcome for those we treat.
