About the Team/Service/ Location
The position is primarily based at Auckland City Hospital, an 1165 bed teaching hospital. Approximately 1100 coronary and 250 structural interventional procedures are undertaken at Auckland City Hospital each year. The only public cardiac surgical service in the region is at Auckland City Hospital.
Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand is set in a pristine marine-based environment with a temperate climate and has a population of 1.5 million. It is a vibrant mixture of lifestyles and cultures and offers easy access to stunning and diverse scenery and a wonderful range of outdoor pursuits.

About you
Although many trial co-ordinators have post-graduate nursing training and experience, those from other backgrounds in cardiology or clinical research may apply.
Applicants must have:
• At least five year’s work experience in nursing or allied fields with cardiology experience.
• Computer skills/Microsoft applications – Word, Excel and Outlook
• Project management experience and research exposure
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
