About the Role
We have a new role for a Clinical Team Leader responsible for managing 10 -15 Cardiac Physiologist & Technicians. As Team Leader you will set goals and monitor team performance while providing specialist and advanced clinical practice in accordance with Te Toka Tumai Auckland’s codes of ethics and standards of practice.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The Cardiac Physiology department comprises a dynamic and dedicated team of approximately 35 physiologists and technicians.Cardiac Physiologists are part of a multidisciplinary team working in a wide range of procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac disease. Te Toka Tumai Auckland Hospital offers both elective and acute care across a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures (including primary PCI, TAVI, EP and CIEDs) for adult patients and provides the national service for paediatric and adult congenital heart disease patients (cardiac catheterisation, EP and CIEDs).
The position is primarily based at Auckland City Hospital, an 1165 bed teaching hospital. Approximately 1100 coronary and 250 structural interventional procedures are undertaken at Auckland City Hospital each year. We work across a vast range of elective and acute diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult patients as well as providing the only service for paediatric and ACHD patients.
