Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The Regional Huntington’s Disease Service is based at Auckland City Hospital and is involved with service users and their whānau at the predictive testing, early symptomatic and diagnostic phases as well as people experiencing active disease through to end of life care.
This is a senior clinical position and we welcome applications from Registered Nurses with a strong background in mental health nursing. You will join the small, dedicated team comprising another Nurse Specialist, a Psychiatrist and a Team Administrator. We will provide an interesting and supportive working environment including excellent supervision and a commitment to supporting you with ongoing professional development.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive Mental Health Assessments and develop management plans for our service users and work with/alongside regional services to implement inpatient care for them.

You will have a current registration and annual practicing certificate (no conditions on your scope of practice) and full and clean driver’s license.
