Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The focus of this role is primarily dispensing and counselling for discharged patients and clinic outpatients. There is an opportunity to develop retail and OTC sales as there is a large number of staff working on site as well as many visitors. As a senior pharmacist and 2IC to the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient work-flow within the dispensary to provide quality outpatient pharmacy services. You will also be required to support the Pharmacy Manager in providing leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff and assist with overall pharmacy service provision. It is expected that this role works closely and collaboratively with the Pharmacy Manager to plan, promote and develop the future direction of quality outpatient pharmacy services at Te Toka Tumai Auckland. This will require high levels of communication, co-operation and initiative.
