Cardiothoracic and ORL Operating Rooms
ORL including major head and neck procedures plus cardiac procedures, including heart and lung transplant. The department also operates a state of the art hybrid theatre which provides access to advance imaging equipment in a theatre environment for the vascular, cardiology and cardiac teams.
Adult and Emergency Operating Rooms
Acute and elective procedures including general surgery, vascular, colorectal, breast, hepatobiliary, urology, neurosurgery (paediatrics and adults), orthopaedics and kidney, pancreatic and liver transplants (paediatrics and adults).
Women's Health Operating Rooms
Women’s Health is dedicated to meeting the needs of women needing surgical procedures through providing acute and elective obstetrics and gynaecology, including gynaecological oncology.
Greenlane Surgical Unit (GSU)
Our day stay and overnight ward supports procedures for both adult and paediatrics across such specialities as general surgery, orthopaedics, oral health, ORL, gynaecology, urology plus elective and acute ophthalmology.
Starship Operating Rooms
Starship is New Zealand only dedicated children’s hospital where they perform acute and elective procedures including general surgery, urology, endoscopy, oncology, ORL, dental, orthopaedics, plastics, respiratory and in the future transplant services.
