Health Care Assistant Earn and Learn Programme

This is a programme for anyone interested in starting a career in health. You’ll join us as a Health Care Assistant working on the wards while studying for a level 3 qualification in Health and wellbeing. You’ll be paid throughout the programme and will be fully supported with training and support on the ward. When you’ve successfully completed the programme, which will take no longer than a year you’ll be a fully qualified HCA with a guaranteed job with us at the end of it.

How we support you through the programme

You’ll get a full orientation from day one to set you up for success on the wards.

You’ll be supported by our training team in the classroom and complete 15 modules. Working on the ward, you’ll be buddied up with one of the nursing team and have the full support of the Charge Nurse.

You’ll also be part of a cohort of new Health Care Assistants and you’ll all support each other.
