Registered Nurse - Womens Health PACU / Recovery

You’ll be joining the Women’s health PACU / Recovery nursing team who share Auckland DHB’s values of Haere Mai (welcome), Manaaki (respect), Tūhono (together) and Angamua (aim high).
Obs and Gynae PACU / Recovery have 9 post op-beds, two pre-op beds and an operating day of admission unit. Specialities include oncology, gynaecology and obstetrics, and care of the new-born. Shifts are 10 hour rostered including nights, weekends and public holidays with some on call. Most shifts cover between 0700 and 2300 weekdays.
You are a dynamic and committed Registered Nurse with a current APC and at least 1 years’ continuous experience (preferably in a New Zealand hospital) in PACU, ICU, HDU, surgical wards or neonatal units. You will be part of a high performing, multi-disciplinary and supportive team who all have a common passion, care and enthusiasm for delivering a high quality experience and outcome for their patients.
