We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our team here in Maternity at Te Toka Tumai.
As part of Auckland District Health Board, National Women’s Health is responsible for delivering health and disability services to almost 500,000 people in the Auckland Region and to people from all over New Zealand. With over 6500 deliveries a year National Women's Health is one of the largest maternity hospitals in New Zealand.
We are currently seeking full-time and/or part-time Registered Nurses to join our dedicated, value-driven team for Women’s Health.
Auckland District Health Board is also seeking out registered nurses who are interested in gaining their NZ Midwifery qualification and becoming Midwives. We are currently looking into ways to support nurses to undertake Midwifery training. – Call us to discuss further.
To be successful in the position, you will need to have:
- Must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Have a valid current Practicing Certificate
- Experience working in a Women’s Health or Neonatal care setting is an advantage, or if you have a passion towards taking care of Wāhine and Pēpi – we want to hear from you.
- An ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential
- Must have the eligibility to work in New Zealand
