The Consumer Experience Manager is a new role within the Quality, Safety and Risk Service. The Consumer Experience team is a newly formed team to help Te Toka Tumai ensure the voice of consumers and whānau is heard and acted on. This team will support clinical services to listen and engage with consumers and whānau to capture their experiences, needs, and aspirations. The team will share insights to influence policies, practices and services within Te Toka Tumai.

We're looking for someone who relishes diving into work that matters - even when dealing with ambiguity.
We want someone who understands how partnering with consumers strengthens our service delivery and feedback is critical information for service improvement.
You can plan and manage a varied workload, make things happen, and be a champion for authentic and credible engagement with our community. You'll be skilled at working with leaders, know how to influence, and be able to build rapport.
To be successful you will have:
- A strong understanding of the value of consumer experience
- Ability to identify, build and actively manage relationships, valuing diverse perspectives and experiences.
- The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to everyday practice; a degree of fluency in Te reo Māori is of benefit.
