Greenlane Clinical Centre

The Greenlane Clinical Centre is where we deliver outpatient services and day-stay surgeries. Hours of operation are from Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to noon, although some clinics are open later. To enter the building outside of these hours, please make arrangements with the ward or service you are visiting.

In an emergency

There are no emergency services provided at our Greenlane site.  For serious injury and health concerns, go to your closest hospital emergency department or call 111. Learn more about the Auckland City Hospital emergency department().

Parking

Parking charges apply in all areas of the Greenlane Clinical Centre site. All car parks are accessible via Gate 1 off Green Lane Road, please follow the signs. Access is also available via Claude Rd, Mon-Fri only (this access is chained off Sat-Sun). 

Public parking fees

If you are a patient or close family member who needs to use the carpark for an extended period then please talk to your Charge Nurse if you are facing financial pressures, as we may be able to help.

Other parking

There is a 30-minute, free drop-off zone, outside the main entrance of Greenlane Clinical Centre. There may be some free parking in the streets surrounding Greenlane; but you will need to check as many areas have time limits on parking (eg. P120). Please remember to pay for your parking at the ticket machine in the main foyer before you leave the centre so you can easily exit the car park.

Buses

Taxis

There is a taxi rank located outside the main entrance. If there is no taxi there, our Blue Coat volunteers can call a taxi for you.

Waitemata Shuttle Service

This shuttle provides transport assistance for people living in the Waitemata DHB area with an appointment at Greenlane Clinical Centre. For more information please call 0800 809 342 or 09 426 0918 or download the Community Shuttle information sheet.

Trains

Greenlane Clinical Centre is served by Greenlane Station on the Southern line, a 20 minute walk along Great South Road.

Passengers can also connect to the 321 bus at Ellerslie Train Station or Grafton Train Station, Monday to Friday, for travel to Greenlane Clinical Centre.

Motorcycles

Dedicated motorcycle parking is available at the Greenlane Clinical Centre. This is located in front of Cornwall Complex 15.
